I am 17 and haven't gotten my period yet. Am I abnormal?

I am sure you are not abnormal. Rather it is unusual to not have started menses by your age. Most doctors suggest evaluation of the situation if menses has not occurred by now. I would suggest that you make an appointment with a gynecologist or adolescent medicine specialist.
