Can Prozac cure PMS?

Prozac is being used to treat some of the symptoms of PMS, mostly those of depression. However, this may be inappropriate. Essentially, Prozac will work on depression and other emotional symptoms of PMS, but these treatments work on the symptoms and not on the underlying cause.

Also, keep in mind Prozac has side effects, many of which are specific to women.
